HHRM Workshop

Emergency response in offshore Hydrocarbon installations

Hellenic Hydrocarbon Resources Management (HHRM) organized successfully its first workshop, with the participation of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), on 25 June 2019, on "Emergency Response in Offshore Platforms”. The seminar was developed in four thematic units: I. Emergency Response Challenges & Strategies, II. Well containment and control, III. Emergency Response Plans and IV. Oil Spill Management. The seminar covered in particular issues such as toxic cloud mitigation, fire-fighting on platform, platform stability issues and well containment and control following an incident.
